Andrew Steven Biggs[3] (born November 7, 1958) is an American attorney and politician. A Republican, he serves as a member of the United States House of Representatives, representing Arizona’s 5th congressional district. The district includes most of the East Valley, covering most of Mesa and Chandler and all of Queen Creek and Biggs’s hometown of Gilbert.
Previously, he was a member of the Arizona Senate representing the 12th District from 2011 to 2017 (numbered as the 22nd District from 2011 to 2013) and a member of the Arizona House of Representatives representing the 22nd District from 2003 to 2011. He was President of the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017.
